Job Summary

The Sewist is responsible for producing quality garments in a timely fashion by following a production spec sheet and / or art sheet using a Juki Sewing Machine to apply logos, names & numbers to jerseys & other apparel. Additionally, this position requires the individual to follow directions to ensure product meets customer expectations, maintain acceptable quality and productivity, while keeping a clean and safe work area, be reliable, work well with others and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements :

Essential Job Functions

• Operating the Sewing machine : Setting up and operating the sewing machine according to production specifications, including gap of zig-zag stitch, method of sewing per garment / apparel.
• Following Production Schedules : Meeting deadlines and maintaining a consistent flow of production.
• Follows the direction on the production specification sheet and / or art sheet provided for each customer order
• Sewing letters and numbers onto team jerseys with borders, as well as team logos. Able to sew patches on bags or any other sporting items that are needed.
• Quality Control : Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring that designs are properly placed and adhered.
