Job Title: Energy Auditor Weatherization
Technician, Full time – Permanent position.

Portland, OR
Duties
Review detailed proposed Scopes of Work for whole-house retrofits (shell,
mechanical systems, critical repairs) and provide feedback to installing
contractors. Work requires leaning/running detailed audit/documentation
software.
Perform field audits of jobs, providing detailed documentation of findings
Perform diagnostic tests to determine whole house air leakage duct leakage,
combustion safety, and other important metrics
Mentor installing contractors on these tests as needed as they get up to speed
Qualifications
At least 2 yrs experience working in existing residential homes with focus on
weatherization and critical house repair (structural, functional, health/safety
issue) identification
Consistent ability to work both in a team structure and independently and to
and document work carefully
Experience working with weatherization and HVAC contractors
Experience with energy modeling and job tracking software
Experience with detailed house testing, including whole house and duct air
leakage, duct static pressure and system airflow, combustion safety
Ability to work consistently in field situations with a variety of physical
characteristics
Ability to work with varied site occupants, building contractors, and sub
trades
Bilingual capacity (Spanish) desirable
Building Performance Institute certifications (BA-T
and BA-P) desirable
