What Will This Opportunity Do For You

Youllgrow your expertise and analytical skillsthrough collaboration with a global cross-functional team ownership of a well-defined project and exposure to new technology and tools used to improve vehicles and customer experience.

Responsibilities

What youll do...

Develop 3D geometry and innovative designs concepts that solve challenging crash load cases while balancing construction material and manufacturing methods.

Perform and understand tolerance analysis Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulations and analyses before releasing designs for production.

Develop study and implement novel construction techniques and materials then drive them to production feasibility

Hands-on prototyping testing & troubleshooting

Qualifications

Youll have...

Pursuit of a relevant Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Computer Science Mechanical Engineering or a related field

A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

Analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Must be able to work from the Long Beach CA campus.

Must be able to dedicate 6 months for this engagement

Candidates must graduate and be available for full-time work prior to September 2026

Experience using 3D CAD software collaboratively

Even better you may have

Experience using 3D CAD software collaboratively

Understand of polymers manufacturing processes and mechanical properties.

Experience using CAE software for mechanical analysis

This position is a salary grade 5.
