About The Position

ID : 74316306 Shift : 8H Days 8 hour days plus call Description : Unit Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.

• RN's - Pass / Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
• Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
• Fingernail policy : Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract UnitCVOR # of Suites11 Average # of cases per day18 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?)BLS, ACLS Common Cases : CABG, Vascular, Lungs Experience or 'Must have' skills : Handing open heart procedures, working in a general OR Is scrubbing required for RNs?No Is there a manager / Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? A Manager and Charge daily, no room assignment OR techs? Yes EMREpic Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)8s or 10s beginning at 0700 M-F, same schedule week to week. Call is somewhat self-scheduled Weeknight / Call Requirements : Yes, 10-15 total days per month on call, combination of nights and weekends Weekend / Call Requirements : Yes Holiday / Call RequirementsYes as needed What is call response time?15 minutes Floating Requirements : No- will work general OR when not doing CV cases Scrub Color / Dress Code : Scrubs provided How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation?
