Your Role : As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you will receive in-depth training and support from our expert team, allowing you flexibility and earning potential to fit your lifestyle.

Engage in tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual platforms (video, phone, chat, email).

Prepare accurate, complete tax returns to meet client needs.

Boost business growth by enhancing client retention and introducing additional products and services.

Assist clients with inquiries related to the IRS.

Collaborate with your team to achieve office-wide objectives.

Broaden your expertise in tax preparation and regulatory knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.

Prior experience in customer service or retail environments.

Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with potential for up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

What You Bring to the Table :

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Comfort with virtual communication tools (video, phone, chat).

Strong communication skills, in person and digitally.

Compliance with IRS and state requirements.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
