Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Unit : Emergency Department (50 beds), Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center (pending), Chest Pain Center

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs

ER RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification

Trauma nursing experience preferred

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Strong teamwork and positive attitude

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions

Perform and assist with trauma and emergency procedures

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including RNs, LVNs, paramedics, PCTs, and BHTs

Utilize advanced clinical equipment such as GE Monitors and Belmont Rapid Infuser

Document patient care using Meditech EMR system

Maintain a 4 : 1 patient ratio to ensure safety and quality outcomes

Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and best practices
