Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 23, 2026 Duration : 13-week nursing contract Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend Number of Positions : 3 ICU RN jobs available Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience At least 1 completed travel nursing contract Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license Required certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC Ability to float within the ICU or similar clinical units across local campuses Taxable address must be outside of 50 miles from the Sioux City facility Submission documents : Updated resume / work history, ICU RN skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, copies of required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill ICU patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to manage patient care plans Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using EPIC EMR Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed Float to other ICU or critical care units as required Participate in charge nurse and precepting duties as assigned Discover the benefits of travel nursing jobs in Iowa—Sioux City offers a welcoming community, affordable living, and abundant outdoor recreation.
