Lead Cloud Security Engineer

A confidential major government agency is seeking an expert Security Architect / Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join their Division of Information Security. This is a critical role focused on implementing, integrating, and operationalizing security technologies, with a heavy emphasis on automation to secure a large-scale enterprise environment.

If you are a highly-experienced local security professional with a strong background in IAM, automation scripting (Python / Bash), and enterprise-level system security, this is an excellent 12-month contract opportunity with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

The position will serve as a Security IAM Engineer assisting with the implementation, integration, and operationalizing of security technologies across the enterprise.

• Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and logging / reporting systems.
• Develop automation and integration scripts to connect security tools and streamline workflows.
• Provide security architecture expertise to assist in the strategic planning and design of new and existing systems.
• Support large-scale IT environments, ensuring secure deployment and operational stability across diverse platforms.
