Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel MRI Technologist – Night Shift (3x12s) Location : Zanesville, OH 43701 Duration : 13 Weeks (Possible Extension) Schedule : 3x12-Hour Shifts | 6 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM | 36 Hours per Week Weekend Rotation : Every 6th Weekend (6 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Weekend Call Every 12 Weeks Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Zanesville, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have solid experience operating Siemens and GE MRI systems , proficiency with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse , and a strong commitment to patient safety and diagnostic excellence. This role offers a stable night shift schedule with blocked scheduling and minimal weekend calls. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a reputable Ohio healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities : Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. Operate Siemens and GE MRI scanners safely and effectively to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Screen patients for safety and contraindications to MRI, ensuring adherence to departmental standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse systems. Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to ensure efficient workflow. Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as scheduled. Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital compliance standards. Qualifications & Requirements : ARRT (MR) Certification – Required BLS Certification (AHA) – Required Minimum 2 years of MRI experience – Required Experience operating Siemens and GE MRI equipment – Required Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse experience – Preferred Ohio License (if registered as a Radiologic Technologist by degree) – Required Excellent attention to detail, communication, and patient interaction skills “We are an equal opportunity employer.
