Responsibilities Work in a Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department with 60 beds including inpatient holding, psych rooms, and hall spaces Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma, sepsis, STEMI, stroke, DKA, psych, and respiratory cases Patient ratios are typically 1 : 4, flexing to 1 : 5 for low acuity cases Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts and weekend rotation every other weekend No floating required Uses Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis med dispensing, and central / bedside telemetry Supported by ER techs, charge and resource nurses, RT, educators, security, house supervisor, and pharmacy 24 / 7 Responsibilities include caring for high acuity patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Support staff available 24 / 7, including security and pharmacy Orientation includes NEO, Epic training if needed, and 3-4 precepted shifts Scrub colors are flexible with professional appearance required Non-offensive tattoos and modest piercings are permitted Holiday coverage required for 3 out of 5 major holidays Up to 5 days of time off may be approved Free staff parking available Traveler-friendly culture, with many extensions Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year strong Emergency Department RN experience required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB Traveler Competency Exam and Telemetry Competency must be completed and passed prior to start Proficiency with cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, drips, medication administration, procedural sedation, blood administration, cardiac medication management Epic charting experience preferred First-time travelers not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618575.
