Job Title : PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment

Unit : Operating Room (OR) – Same Day Program

End Date : February 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : 8 Hour Day Shifts (07 : 00 – 15 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,210 - $2,370

PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Hampshire or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or post-anesthesia nursing experience

Required certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical and clinical environment

PACU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures

Monitor and assess patient vital signs, responding promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
