The successful candidate will be provided an opportunity to immediately contribute to zOS Mainframe related tasks and projects, as well as opportunities to utilize, increase, and share their technical knowledge and skills in the mainframe operating systemsThe candidate will leverage their expertise of mainframe operating systems and strong problem-solving skills to upgrade systems, resolve system issues, and assist and educate users and other team membersThe new team member will be expected to assume additional responsibilities as assignedExperienced Systems programmer, not an application developer / programmerThe candidate needs to be a systems expert with experienceThere will be no extensive lifting, standing, or walkingParking is freeSuccessful candidate will be performing the tasks of a zOS systems programmer maintaining and upgrading the zOS Operating System and supporting usersThis is not a role for an operator or application developerWe are looking for an expert in IBM z / OS mainframe systems—someone who can independently manage, upgrade, and troubleshoot complex system environments without relying on others for core z / OS tasksYou will be joining a small, focused team of senior technical professionals who support development engineers working across the full lifecycle of software productsThis role offers immediate opportunities to contribute meaningfully to z / OS projects and to share your technical expertiseResponsibilities :
