Hours : 8-12 / M-F (hours can be flexible)

We are looking for a part time bookkeeper who has the ambition to assist the general manager in helping the organization grow and reach its goals and objectives year after year.

Performance Objectives for this role :

  • Update the QuickBooks with entries with customers and customer invoices, profit and loss, balance, and cash flow statements.
  • Keeping track of all paperwork and file vendor and supplier statements, invoices, payments, etc.
  • HR Duties such as payroll are handled thru the payroll of the company and help with new hire paperwork, W4s, W9s, employee handbooks, etc.
  • Efficient and Effective use of Microsoft Excel, especially in its function in worksheets and pivotal tables in the everyday operations of this role.
  • Administrative duties related to this role and outside of this role if needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintained the General Ledger and ensured the accuracy of financial records.
  • Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
  • Managing income and expenditure accounts
  • Generating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data
  • Keeping a check on the company's finances based on financial status
  • Assist with payroll, general bookkeeping, accounts receivables, and accounts payables.
  • Ensure accurate, dependable, and consistent data entry; oversee the accuracy of the database.
  • Work well with General Manager to produce weekly, monthly, and yearly support. Assist with daily / weekly / monthly / annual AP and AR duties.
  • Assist with filing rebates to utilities and ensure receivables are timely.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized office environment.
  • Team player

  • Perform all duties following company policies and procedures.
  • Job Requirements

    Qualifications / Requirements :

  • QuickBooks : 2 years or more (Required)
  • Bookkeeping : 3 years or more(Required)
  • Must pass a background check.
  • At least High School or Associate Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able and willing to sit at a desk for long periods and work on the computer for a couple of hours daily.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, math, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, Attention to Detail
  • Ability to learn software applications and use them with proficiency, accuracy, and confidence
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google programs
  • Ability to perform own duties independently with little to no supervision
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive material concerning the organization
