Senior Quality Engineer

The Senior Quality Engineer oversees the organization's manufacturing and engineering processes by ensuring the proper use of tools, materials and procedures. They also work with the quality team to create and maintain standards for manufactured products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the internal audit function for the quality system.
• Use the internal audit system to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the documentation change management system.
• Participate in cross functional teams to develop of PFMEAs, control plans and work instructions, utilizing risk assessments to ensure process controls deliver continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Perform MSA and capability studies of new and current gages and equipment.
• Address quality rejects including customer-returned material.
• Assist and coach others in the use of statistical techniques.
• Assist with process improvements and data analysis.
• Conduct process capability studies and quality audits.
• Conduct and participate in customer visits and reviews.
• Other duties as required.
