Job description

Laundry Attendant

In your role as a Laundry Attendant, you'll play a key role in partnering with the housekeeping team and maintaining our linens and towels. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences, nurturing a vibrant company culture, and building strong connections with our communities. This role requires availability on weekends and ability to work between the hours of either 8a-4p or 9a-5p.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, and dry our linens.
  • Take pride in your work by monitoring and maintaining safety and cleanliness of the facilities.
  • Keep laundry facilities, equipment, and storage areas organized.
  • Remove any torn or stained linen for discard.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of proper maintenance and use of equipment.
  • Follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of hazardous materials in accordance with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.
  • Promptly report any damages or maintenance problems.

Qualifications

  • Previous related experience is helpful, though not required.
  • Must understand proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and the requirements for use of housekeeping equipment.
  • Have an eye for detail and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Should be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
