They are seeking someone with high energy and excellent problem-solving skills. The Large Loss Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the mitigation and reconstruction department. This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians and trade partners, estimating the loss utilizing Xactimate software and managing the lifecycle of the job.
Responsibilities :
Conduct on-site inspections and generate ROM estimates to help clients and adjusters quickly understand scope and costsManage multiple large loss projects across residential and commercial sectors with speed, quality, and financial accountabilityBuild job files using Xactimate or T&M documentation methods, and revise estimates in real time as scope evolvesLead, train, and motivate field technicians, supervisors, and subcontractorsOversee daily coordination of mitigation and reconstruction activities; ensure all work is completed per scope and codePrepare and present change orders, work progress summaries, and updates to insurance carriers, adjusters, and property ownersMaintain daily job documentation including photos, moisture readings, and progress notes; ensure proper usage of moisture mapping softwareMonitor profit margins and job costing throughout the project lifecycleReview job budgets, assign resources, and ensure labor / equipment use aligns with project goalsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, and adjusters, setting expectations and managing deliverablesMaintain strong relationships with vendors, trade partners, and in-house teamsEnsure compliance with health / safety protocols, licensing, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in after-hours emergency response rotation for high-priority claimsRepresent Zeus Restoration as a trusted partner in crisis—able to lead confidently in chaotic and high-pressure environmentsRequirements :
3+ years of experience in water mitigation and 2+ years managing large loss or complex projectsExperience preparing ROM estimates and T&M cost summariesStrong proficiency in Xactimate; T&M billing experience preferredIICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) preferredDemonstrated ability to lead field teams and subcontractors through large and complex job sitesProven communication and conflict resolution skills with adjusters, property owners, and large teamsTrack record of delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting margin goalFamiliar with lien waivers, COIs, permitting, and inspection processes for large commercial projectsStrong working knowledge of structural drying, microbial remediation, demolition, and reconstruction timelinesTech-savvy; comfortable working in a digital job management environmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordKeywords : restoration, Xactimate, IICRC
