Job Title : Industrial Utilities Technician

Shift : 5 : 00pm-5 : 30am Alternative Schedule, 3-4-4-3

Department : Maintenance

Summary of Accountabilities :

• Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, operate, maintain, and repair plant utility systems and equipment.
• Monitor and record system performance, and make adjustments to assure the safe and efficient operation of plant utility systems and equipment.
• Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability.
• Utilize the company’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool.
• Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals.
• Provide direction and training for less skilled maintenance personnel and machine operators.

New Employees :

New Employees at our facility are immediately place on a 90-day probationary period. During this time, employee attendance and performance are closely monitored. While on probation, management reserves the right to move and employee to a different open position anywhere in our facility to meet the needs of the business.
