Overview

Commercial Real Estate Attorney opening for a Georgia firm in the Southeast Georgia office. This permanent role handles complex commercial real estate matters, with a focus on land use. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong knowledge of real estate law and environmental considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate agreements and contracts.
• Advise on land use, zoning, and environmental compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research and due diligence on commercial real estate projects.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and external legal counsel, as necessary.
• Keep abreast of current legislation, court decisions, and other developments that may affect the organization\'s real estate operations.
• Perform risk management analysis for real estate transactions and advise stakeholders accordingly.
• Provide training to team members on legal matters related to commercial real estate.
