Registered Nurse – NICU (Mount Sinai West)

Facility : Shift : Nights – 3x12 Hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Every Other Week (EOW) Night Shift Required

The NICU Clinical Nurse at Mount Sinai West delivers safe, competent, quality care to critically ill neonates using relationship-centered care principles and evidence-based nursing practice. Responsibilities include patient assessment, critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient / family education, and managing complex clinical needs in a high-acuity NICU setting with approximately 18-21 beds.

Active New York State RN License – Required (Must be in good standing)

Experience : Minimum 2 years NICU experience – Required (Level 3 and 4 NICU experience preferred)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required (Non-negotiable)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required Special Skills : Body cooling experience – Required EMR : EPIC experience highly preferred

Neonatal critical care nursing

Quality and safety practices in NICU

Charge nurse duties as assigned

Facility & Unit Details

Unit : NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Unit Beds : 18-21

Scheduling : 3 shifts per week, every other week night coverage

Holiday Work : Not specified

EPIC experience highly preferred
