Position Overview

The Legal Editor will play a key role in maintaining the quality and reliability of vLex’s U.S. legal content. This position focuses on analyzing state legislative acts and updating statutes to ensure accuracy, currency, and compliance with our service-level agreements. In addition, the Legal Editor will apply legal expertise to analyzing court cases for Cert treatment, supporting the accuracy of Vincent AI results. The role requires attention to detail, strong legal analysis, and the ability to work within deadlines. Some projects may occasionally require work outside of standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and update charts for assigned states to ensure statutory accuracy
• Deliver statutory material to data customers within established deadlines
• Conduct treatment review for assigned Cert jurisdictions
• Participate in editorial meetings and cross-team collaboration
• Track and report on work metrics regularly
• Maintain ongoing communication with the manager and team
• Independently delivering statute updates with minimal assistance
• Achieving a consistently low error rate in Cert treatments
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of editorial workflows and quality standards
