Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Urbana, Illinois (61801) – Illinois nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Cardiac / Pulmonary Medical-Surgical Unit Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract Start Date : September 29, 2025 End Date : December 27, 2025 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $2000 - $2050 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing At least one (1) year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – American Heart Association Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and pulmonary patients in a medical-surgical unit Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families Implement and modify care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation Administer medications, manage IVs, perform blood administration, and monitor laboratory results Prepare patients for procedures and deliver effective pain management Accurately document all patient care using electronic medical records (EMR) Educate patients and families for safe discharge and care transitions Participate in team huddles and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and ensure follow-up care Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and correcting hazards Engage in professional communication, conflict management, and support peer development Identify personal learning needs and participate in ongoing professional development Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Med / Surg Registered Nurse in Urbana, Illinois.
