Responsibilities Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a comprehensive Medical Imaging department Serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations Perform diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency / trauma center patients Day shift schedule from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday Call may be required and will be discussed during the interview Uses the Epic EMR system; experience with Epic is required Assist the Radiologist with IR procedures and provide support during medical emergencies Prepare and administer contrast media according to policy Responsible for implementing radiation and safety protocols while maintaining sterile techniques Educate patients and families regarding procedures based on individual needs Complete daily and weekly quality control checks as required Maintain accurate records and ensure all supporting documentation is obtained for each procedure Orientation and annual competencies address care for all ages and psychosocial and cognitive needs Scrub attire requirements follow department policy Local radiology candidates within 30 miles are accepted at the same rate No more than 14 days of requested time off are allowed during the contract Requirements Valid ARRT / ODH license required if applicable BLS certification required, ACLS preferred Previous experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred Proficiency with Epic EMR is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639580.
