Responsibilities Position is in a 10-bed Critical Care ICU unit RN to patient ratio is 1 : 2 Shifts are 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM Must be willing to float to Med Surg units as needed Experience with vents, drips, management of arterial and central lines, and participating in codes is required Unit uses Allscripts, Paragon, and Mckesson EMR systems Rare pediatric cases may occur Uses Servo ventilators, LTVs, vapotherm, and V60 BiPAPs May be required to act as charge nurse depending on unit needs Must be willing to float to Med Surg as needed COVID-19 vaccine is not required; proof or declination must be provided Flu vaccination or declination required, with mask policy if declined (flu deadline is October 31) At least three nurses are scheduled per shift on the unit Requirements Active NY RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification and 6 CEUs on stroke topics required before start Previous travel nursing experience required Charge experience preferred, charge may be required Must pass a proctored EKG exam on Day 1 Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626033.
