Reports To : Designated Supervisor
Summary : Under basic supervision, performs a variety of basic labor tasks to maintain streets, roadways, and City infrastructure for the Public Works Department (PWD); operates vehicles, equipment, and tools in compliance with all safety regulations and standard procedures.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines : High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1 year of construction or maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge of : Basic traffic control and safety procedures and regulations.
Skill in :
License and Certification Requirements : A Texas State Class B CDL is required with Tanker Endorsements.
Physical Demands and Working Environment : Work is performed indoors, outdoors, and at City facilities; requires constant physical efforts, and the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to safety hazards and dangerous tools and equipment; safety precautions must be followed, including use of safety equipment. City approved safety shoes must be worn.
