Position Summary : The Claims Manager is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare managing medical malpractice and general liability potential claims, claims and lawsuits. In this role you will evaluates standard of care, causation, and damages to set reserves.

Responsibilities :

  • Investigate potential claims, claims and lawsuits
  • Determine information and documents required to fully assess liability, and damages
  • Work directly with unrepresented patients and family to gather information and resolve claims
  • Participate in communication and resolution program by identifying appropriate cases and helping to guide disclosure conversations

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least ten-year's experience managing liability claims
  • At least two-year's experience managing healthcare professional liability claims
  • Previous employment for a hospital system preferred

    • Pay and Benefit Expectations : We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $123,198.00 - $177,278.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
