Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team at a reputable cold storage distribution facility. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products within the cold storage area.
• Ensure accurate inventory management by scanning and logging products in our system.
• Maintain optimal organization within the warehouse to facilitate easy access to inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in regular training and maintain certification in forklift operation as required.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet distribution schedules and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Previous experience operating forklifts, especially in a cold storage or warehousing setting, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and protocols within a warehouse setting.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
