Job description

Customer Care Coordinator

Transdev in Irvine, CA is hiring a Customer Care Coordinator. The Customer Care Coordinatorwill act as a liaison for our internal/ external customers and providers.We are seeking a compassionate, driven, team-oriented person to serve our elderly and disabled customers by supporting them with transportation solutions. If you are ambitious, good with people, and enjoy a diverse community, then you will enjoy this role working with our friendly cross-functional team.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

  • $20.00/hr.

Benefits include:

  • Vacation: up to 14 days per year

  • Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees/ 5 hrs monthly part- time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, service providers, and clients to ensure exceptional client service

  • Ensures the timely investigation and resolution of customer complaints including working with other departments to research and gather information

  • Respond to customer comments both verbally and in writing

  • Utilize various systems and programs (e.g., Trapeze, DriveCam, Genesys, Service Infractions) to research, analyze, and resolve complaints, incidents, and concerns

  • Monitor and respond to the No-Show queue; validate reported No-Shows as appropriate

Collaborate and communicate across all departments Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED

  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional, customer-focused telephone etiquette

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to promote teamwork and cooperation

  • Proficient in time management and multi-tasking

  • Must be able to work flexible hours

  • To excel at client service

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to learn dispatch and scheduling applications

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
