Medical Collections Representative opportunity with you. Collectors are responsible for appropriately and effectively collecting the debts assigned to them while regularly complying with FDCPA, HIPAA and other legal or company requirements provided in training.
Monday through Friday
8 : 00-5 : 00pm
$20 Hourly
Fully Remote
Westlake Village- first 30-60 days of training will be onsite in Westlake Village
Duties include
- Collectors are responsible for appropriately and effectively collecting the debts assigned to them while regularly complying with FDCPA, HIPAA and other legal or company requirements provided in training.
- Review of accounts in assigned queue to determine next course of action required to resolve the account.
- Establish and Maintain Payment Arrangements consistent with our established guidelines.
- All collectors are required to announce that "all calls are recorded," provide the
mini-Miranda and comply with state and federal laws involving collections.
- Collectors are required to use appropriate action codes to trigger and update credit reporting status.
- Adheres to assigned work schedule and hours
- Attends and participates in all training classes and meetings requested by management
- Applies updated collection training to performance in order to comply with regulations and policies
