Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Survey Party Chief with at least three years of field experience across a broad range of survey types. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership technical expertise and a commitment to quality and safety. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to impactful projects in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and perform NCDOT Surveys and Verification including but not limited to : construction staking bridge layout as-builts.
• Perform survey computations and assist with data collection.
• Train and mentor junior survey technicians in the use of equipment field procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all survey work.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams contractors and clients.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all survey equipment.
• Provide support in technical field tasks as needed.
