Now Hiring General Laborer / Yard / Crew- Gastonia

  • 100% of job is outside or warehouse based
  • Full-time 1st shift only- 7 : 30am to 5 : 00pm MON - FRI (with hourly variance based on weather and workload)

Starting Pay- $15- $20 based on Experience and potential increase when hired full- time.

  • Must be able to clean and provide light-weight yard maintenance for facility (excluding landscaping)
  • Pull orders and follow written directions
  • Read and interpret tape measure for fabrication assistance : mark reference points on construction materials
  • Load and unload customer and vendor vehicles (both manually and with the use of loading equipment)
  • These individuals should have experience with the following equipment : forklift (REQUIRED), bobcat (preferred), standard power tools (REQUIRED), lifting tools (preferred)
  • Standard PPE will be provided (one set per employee)
  • Provide maintenance and repair work for equipment; small engine repair experience preferred
  • Stretch wire, wire mesh, or chain link fabric and attach fencing to gate frames
  • Make rails for fences, by sawing lumber or by cutting metal tubing to required lengths using specialty equipment

    • PHYSICAL ABILITIES :

  • The employee must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as regularly reach above the shoulders, bend, squat
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to and including 80 pounds without experiencing physical discomfort or pain
  • Possess manual / finger dexterity – be able to quickly move hand, arm, or two hands and to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • 1 year of construction experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 5 years driving history
