Job description

Location : St Vincents Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT

Shift : Full time, 7 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm, 4 days a week with rotating on-call assignments.

Training Opportunities : We are willing to train Radiologic Technologists in Interventional Radiology and Neuro as needed.

Position Summary :

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist will operate advanced digital equipment and perform a variety of complex Neuro and Interventional procedures. You will be responsible for positioning patients, preparing contrast media, and assisting physicians in both diagnosis and treatment. A solid understanding of anatomy and physiology is essential, along with the ability to work with chemotherapy agents, cements, and embolization substances. This is a fully clinical role that may require mandatory on-call work as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
  • Possess a State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
