Reach Truck Operator - 1st Shift

Shift : 1st - 6am - finish (normally around 1pm)

Pay : $17 / hr

Location : Westside, Jacksonville (32219)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. The role involves handling mostly put-aways using Reach Trucks, ensuring the accurate placement of products according to RF scanner instructions and aisle assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manage put-away tasks using Reach Trucks.
• Transport pallets from the staging area and store them as directed by the RF scanner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned aisles.
• Unload trucks as required.
• Achieve a target of putting away 20 pallets per hour once fully trained.
• Manually handle some items for Cherry Picker operators and bulk pallet orders for Reach Truck operators.
• Audit aisle locations and address any discrepancies in real-time.
• Use RF scan guns to determine product lot and location for staging.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with a tight-knit team. Day shifts run from 6am until completion, typically around 1pm, while night shifts start at 6pm and finish around 1am. Flexibility to work until tasks are completed is required. Our facility features sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, stand-up reach trucks, cherry pickers, and stand-on electric pallet trucks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
