About Us :
We are looking for a Payroll and Treasury expert for our client that is a holdings and investment company. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll & Treasury Specialist to join our team. This role will ensure accurate payroll processing and effective cash management across all entities.
Responsibilities :
Process and oversee biweekly payroll for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Processing payroll for 5,000 plus employees.
Process benefits in-house.
Manage daily cash positioning, bank balances, and liquidity needs across entities.
Initiate and monitor wire transfers, ACH payments, and intercompany transactions.
Reconcile payroll accounts, bank accounts, and treasury activities.
Support audits by providing payroll and treasury documentation.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll or treasury issues.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
5 + years of experience in payroll and / or treasury functions (multi-entity or holdings company experience a plus).
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax compliance, and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycom). ADP is a plus.
Familiarity with treasury functions, debits / credits, cash management, and banking platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
