About The Position

Description :

Seeking a registered nurse with experience in Medical / Surgical / Telemetry.

The position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Block scheduling is accommodated every other weekend.

Staffing ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients.

Candidates must possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

EPIC charting experience is highly valued.

The daily census is expected to be approximately 8 patients.

Unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with physical therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.

Skills required include managing telemetry, IV starts, blood product administration, wound care, and care for patients with various medical conditions.

All applicants should have a solid understanding of accessing and managing ports, central line blood draws, and non-invasive airway management.

Experience in managing dysrhythmias, feeding tubes, and use of oxygen therapy is necessary.

The unit provides care to a diverse patient age group, including infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Candidates must be willing to float and provide weekend coverage as needed.
