Working for our team, you can truly make a difference. We are looking for a Maintenance Procurement Coordinator to join our team. The Maintenance Procurement Coordinator (MPC) is responsible for ordering, receiving, tracking, and storing parts. They will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will assist in completing a wide variety of tasks, from purchasing parts to collecting cost data to maintaining KPI information. This position requires flexibility and willingness to do a wide range of tasks that may be outside the scope of the position but still within the responsibilities of the maintenance department. Why work at MCC : Compensation : Starting at $26.00 hourly Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k) Paid Holidays : New Year's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays Responsibilities : Organize and maintain parts inventory for all parts in stock, ensuring that stock levels do not fall below required levels Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding order status, delivery times, and availability Process returns of defective parts, arranging replacement,s and ensuringthe company receives a credit for all returned parts Shop for the best price and availability of parts from a variety of vendors Find ways to source parts that may be proprietary to certain manufacturers Maintain daily PO spreadsheet Process invoices for payment, issue PO numbers through the Radius Program, and work with accounts payable to resolve any vendor issues Keep management updated on lead times and any supply chain issues Maintain the parts storage area to ensure it is well organized, and parts removed from inventory are re-ordered Maintain the daily MDI board by updating KPI’s Maintain filing in the maintenance department Schedule Preventive Maintenance Contractors for Chiller, HVAC, Air Compressor, Fire System, etc. Other duties as needed Qualifications : High School Diploma / GED required Experience using computers for data entry, record keeping, etc., is required Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required Minimum of 2 years of purchasing-related experience required Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Experience with Radius, SAP, or other Production and Customer Management Systems required Experience operating a forklift is preferred YORKIND For over a century, Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has crafted premium labels for the world’s most iconic and recognizable brands.
