Before-Care / Staff Childcare Assistant

Must Do

Supervise and care for students before school and during the day in Staff Childcare, maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Staff Childcare Coordinator in planning and organizing before-school and staff childcare activities, ensuring sufficient materials and engaging options are available.

Prepare activity rooms or spaces in advance and ensure thorough clean-up afterwards.

Communicate with LCS Elementary Office Staff to coordinate the transition of children from before-care into school.

Assist with check-in and check-out of kids, ensuring an accurate record of time is logged and entered into FACTS for billing purposes.

Promptly communicate any concerns or issues to the Staff Childcare Coordinator.

Foster positive relationships with families and children, treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Assist with minor medical emergencies or first aid as needed.

Work Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday, 6 : 45 AM - 2 : 45 PM (Before-Care 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 45 AM; Staff Childcare 7 : 45 AM - 2 : 45 PM)
