About the Role

This Sales Executive will be focused on selling into named public sector city and county accounts with a hunter focus on net new logos seeking to transform their HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Scheduling processes using UKG HCM SaaS deployments. A successful candidate will need to use consultative selling skills to clearly understand customer / prospect business requirements and recommend the best UKG software solutions to meet their business objectives.

Primary responsibilities include : consistently exceeding sales quotas, proven success selling HRMS / Payroll solutions to complex organizations, developing and maintaining a working knowledge of solutions, technology and capabilities to solve customer challenges and help them achieve stated business outcomes, presenting HCM products and services to final decision makers and end users within an assigned territory, identifying sales opportunities and developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on HCM, Payroll solutions and services aligned with the prospective customer's needs, maintaining a strong knowledge of HCM / SaaS Industry, competitors and analysts, and excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

About You

Basic qualifications include minimum of 3-5 years of proven success selling HCM / Payroll solutions with some experience selling to local governments. Preferred qualifications include organized and detail oriented, state and local sales experience, excellent negotiation, written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, strong work ethic while operating with a high-level of integrity, honesty and commitment to self and everyone else, BA / BS or equivalent. Candidates will live in or near their territory and are familiar with the public sector business climate for local government cities and counties in NY, PA, WV, VA, MD, NJ and DE.

Travel : Up to 50%.
