The Department of Dermatology is seeking several qualified Medical Assistants 1-2-3. The Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients, under the direction of a physician. Moreover, the incumbent interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. The Medical Assistant also draws and collects blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. This is an onsite job in Miami, FL. Shifts varies.

Qualifications for MA 1, MA2, and MA3
Medical Assistant 1- (MA1)
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant educational program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). Active - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers No previous experience required.
Medical Assistant 2- (MA2)
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant educational program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). Active National or Statewide Certifications (See Table 1) Minimum of 2 years previous experience Active - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers Specialty Certification relevant to present position
Medical Assistant 3- (MA3)
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant educational program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). Active National or Statewide Certifications (See Table 1) Minimum of 4 years previous experience Active - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers Specialty Certification relevant to present position
Candidates must obtain their National certification no more than 12 months from date of hire
Paid varies depending on experience.
