Shift : Either 4am-2 : 30pm Monday through Thursday OR 6am-2 : 30pm Monday through Friday.

Starting Pay : $25+ based on skills and experience

Location : Gainesville, FL (32653)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal plant operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production machinery and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Troubleshoot and maintain production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Equipment includes dust collectors, hoppers, conveyors, bag fillers, palletizers, etc

Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Replace and rewire 480V 3-phase motors.

Perform mechanical repairs on conveyor systems, including changing belts, chains, rollers, bearings, sprockets, and pulleys.

Diagnose and repair issues with photo eye sensors.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Experience with 480V 3-phase motor wiring and replacement.

Familiarity with conveyor systems and mechanical components.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work overnight shifts.

Work Environment :

• Non Climate controlled manufacturing facility

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $42.00 / hr.
