Job descriptionAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree (required) Prior lab experience preferred, but not required Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel occasionally to mine sites for sampling Pre-hire drug screening required OSHA training will be provided Pay will be based on qualifications and years of experience Laboratory and occasional field environment Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required Some physical activity including lifting samples and standing for extended periods Hours of operation : 7am-3 : 30pm M-F with possibility of overtime during high workload projects

Position Summary :
Forte Analytical is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metallurgical Lab Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in laboratory sciences and a strong interest in the mining and metallurgical field. Forte is seeking one person for a contracted / temporary position and one person for a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform ore preparation for metallurgical testing
- Conduct sampling and analytical laboratory work
- Assist with various tests including leach tests, flotation, and moisture content determination
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory work
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of lab equipment and workspace
