Job Description
What You Get To Do:
This position will be responsible for the supervision of a residential home within the Youth Out of Home Services program, supporting teens and young adults with intellectual developmental disabilities.
- Ensure the development and implementation of the individual treatment/support plans, from admission through discharge and follow-up.
- Coordinate care, support, and other appointments/services and complete service documentation, data collection and analysis, and healthcare/medication tracking.
- Act as an advocate for supported individuals and maintain routine communication with families, case managers/service coordinators, healthcare professionals, and other supports in the individual’s life.
- Provide direction, oversight, training, and feedback to direct support professional staff in providing support for individuals according to the defined treatment/support plans.

Qualifications
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Must have at least two years of supervisory or management experience in a developmental disabilities services or mental health setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (e.g. health care, social services, education, behavioral science, or counseling) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities or mental health; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Good driving record, proof of current driver's license and auto insurance.
- Have a working knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to speak to groups of staff, to articulate clearly, and to demonstrate positive enthusiasm toward staff and individuals supported.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the needs of program operations and supported individuals.
