Billing Specialist

Key Responsibilities :

Accurately create, process, and transmit remittances in a timely manner.

Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing billing-related emails with professionalism and efficiency.

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, make corrections and adjustments as needed.

Ensure compliance issues are identified and resolved to secure timely approvals.

Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable team to track outstanding payments and maintain clean aging reports.

Run and review billing reports and support monthly closing activities.

Maintain documentation in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.

Use advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables ) to analyze and organize billing data.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in billing, accounting, or a related finance role.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data validation tools.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and billing best practices.

Excellent attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and numbers.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working in a compliance-driven industry.
