A top Waste and Recycling company in the Pompano Beach area is looking for a high level diesel mechanic to add to their team.
There are both 1st and 2nd shift openings available. The primary responsibility will be repairing and performing maintenance on Class A and B garbage truck engines.
Pay and responsibilities will be aligned with knowledge and ability.Responsibilities : *Performing inspections and repairs on CDL A and B Garbage Diesel Trucks*Performing Brake Inspections and Repairs to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicles*Using service manuals and schematics to organize and perform necessary repairs efficiently*Adhering to safety protocols and following OSHA regulations *Ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained and promptly reporting any issuesRequirements : *3-5+ years of Maintenance / Repair on Diesel Engines *Extensive engine repair experience*Previous experience in Waste Industry preferred*Diagnostics experience *Electronics experience *Any welding experience is a plus*Knowledge of Hydraulics is a plus*ASE certification stringly preferred
