As a Project Manager in Equities, you will play a pivotal role within the Risk and Valuations team, which is broadly responsible for developing financial models and critical trading tools that support various product lines across the Equity Derivatives business, including Flow, EFS, Trading, and Risk Management. This business is at the forefront of delivering advanced, client-centric solutions in financial modelling. You will collaborate closely with Technology team members, Product Management, and business stakeholders to translate evolving trade ideas and business needs into actionable project plans, estimates, and requirements that align with the broader product and business strategy.

To be successful as a Project Manager, you should have experience with :

Guiding deliverables or large-scale IT platforms within investment banking or fintech environments

Collaborating with IT management and stakeholders to estimate and track project deliverables

Working with development teams to draft project requirements, coordinate cross-team decisions, and communicate progress to technology supports

Creating and maintaining project plans, estimates, product roadmaps, resource forecasts, and delivery projections

Agile development processes and utilizing tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and SharePoint

Other highly valued skills include :

Understanding of the financial domain, particularly equity derivatives and equities market data

Familiarity with Risk and Valuation systems, which would be considered an advantage

Experience with development tools such as GitLab or Bitbucket

Proficiency in Excel formulas and automation techniques

This role is located in Whippany, NJ or New York, NY office.

Salary for Whippany, NJ :

Minimum Salary : $120,000

Maximum Salary : $175,000

Minimum Salary : $120,000

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.

Accountabilities

• Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
• Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.
• Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
• Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
