Job Description
Oversee daily field operations for milling, paving, and roadwork projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules and budget requirements. Supervise and direct crews and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Monitor site conditions and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays or safety hazards. Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address concerns. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout all phases of construction. Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation related to project progress and workforce activities. Lead safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and procedures. Assist in planning and scheduling future phases of work, including resource allocation and logistics.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent should have : Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials. Excellent organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple aspects of a project simultaneously. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively on construction sites. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
