Maintenance, Engineering (Bell Gardens, CA.)

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team! We are seeking a team player who is ready to go the extra mile on every occasion and who will take pride in their work.

The Maintenance Engineer position performs work involving the skills of two or more maintenance craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, tile work, cleaning, carpentry, gardening, painting, and plastering of the building structure by performing the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Duties may involve pipe fitting, boiler repair, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning, troubleshooting and balancing new equipment, and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
• Takes equipment readings and ensures that all equipment and machinery are properly inspected and operational.
• Performs minor repairs and general maintenance cleaning duties as instructed by the manager / supervisor.
• Ensures that lighting is in working condition throughout the facility.
• Prepares routine maintenance and makes general recommendations for continued use to supervisors and / or management.
• Identifies and repairs equipment and / or areas that could be hazardous immediately and submits daily reports to the supervisor / management.
• Repairs machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Ability to prioritize work projects as they are assigned or as requests for service calls arise.
• Performs clean-up and preservation of equipment rooms in the facility, ensuring that the assigned work area is maintained in a safe condition.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager / Supervisor.

Min : USD $22.00 / Hr.

Max : USD $22.75 / Hr.
