General Purpose : The Downtown Engagement Specialist will engage in high level projects focused on the growth and promotion of Downtown Auburn Hills. Special emphasis shall be placed on coordinating and conducting special events.

Preferred Qualifications :

(A) Graduation from a college or university is not required, but some college coursework is desirable in communications, business management, marketing or a related field, and (B) Two (2) years of related experience; or (C) Any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.

Pay Rate : $21 per hour, 24 hours per week

Special Requirements : Flexible hours Monday Friday, some weekends and evenings required. Schedule will vary based upon the calendar of events. Ability to generate excitement around the downtown and its events and activities and to promote continuous success.
