ICU RN Job Details Location : Lima, Ohio (45801) – Ohio healthcare jobs Setting : Mixed ICU and Stepdown Unit (24 beds, flex up to 36 beds) Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 17, 2026 Shift : 12-hour nights; every other weekend and holiday Hours per Week : 36 (option for 36 or 48-hour guarantee) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910 per week Employment Type : Travel nursing job Unit Details : High acuity, neuro, cardiac, and post-surgical patients; nurse-to-patient ratios 1 : 2-3 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (required) BLS certification (required prior to patient care) ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire) Dysrhythmia Exam (required; study guide available) Experience with ventilators, Alaris pumps, CPAP / BiPAP, and pressors Bonus skills : IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, Impella, SWAN, ECMO EPIC EHR experience (preferred) Ability to float to all levels of care as needed Must not be a local candidate ICU RN Responsibilities Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments in the ICU Create, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Administer medications and manage advanced life-support technology Perform hemodynamic monitoring and care for critically ill patients with multi-system organ failure or trauma Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including intensivists, residents, and mid-level providers Coordinate patient care and communicate with families Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Educate patients and families on ICU treatment plans and care processes Maintain professionalism and adhere to infection control and safety protocols Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, high-stress healthcare environment Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse in Lima, Ohio!
