Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, board-certified (or board-eligible) Neurosurgeon to join our dynamic Neurosurgery and Neuroscience team at the Mercy Health Neuroscience Institute. This role offers the opportunity to practice in both hospital and outpatient settings , focusing on the diagnosis and management of a broad range of neurosurgical conditions.
We welcome applications from both experienced and early-career surgeons . Fellowship training is welcomed but not required.
Practice Highlights
- Robust Clinical Practice – Busy ambulatory neurosurgery practice with a large internal and external referral base.
- Diverse Case Mix – Approximately 75% spine and 25% cranial cases , with exposure to a broad range of pathologies.
- Hospital Coverage – Neurosurgery call at St. Vincent Medical Center on a 1 : 4 rotation. Level 1 Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level II Pediatric Neurosurgery.
- Academic Engagement – Neuroscience Clinical Faculty role, including resident education, didactics, multidisciplinary conferences (neuro-oncology, neurovascular, trauma), and grand rounds.
