JOB SUMMARY :

The overall repair and maintenance of all equipment and the building facility, working in conjunction with department supervisors to ensure their needs are met.

To maintain equipment running in a safe and good operating condition.

Also assist with tooling maintenance and repair needs when needed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Must be able to read measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Must maintain tools required to do the job.
• Maintain equipment manuals.
• Maintain certain spare parts for equipment and order when needed.
• Maintain bi-weekly p.m. service on equipment and turn in on a monthly-basis written records to safety manager.
• Must be able to do basic electrical work.
• Schedule outside compressor service for bi-monthly p.m. service on compressors.
• Must have basic knowledge of equipment operation.
• Must maintain maintenance department clean and organized
• Must have some basic welding skills
• Know how to operate surface grinder, milling machine, radial drill, lathe, and know how to drive a forklift and scissors lift
• Work with suppliers on equipment repair needs.
• Must be able to drive company pick-up (maintain driver's license privilege)
